Juvenile Diabetes Ride

Grant and Dan Loriaux are brothers from West Linn Oregon. On October 15, 2004, just nine days before his twelfth birthday, Grant Loriaux was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. For this 12th birthday, Grant was given a lifelong responsibility to manage a chronic disease.

Fast forward ten years, Grant is now a graduated dual sport collegiate athlete. His brother Dan is a medical student at Duke. This month, Dan will be competing in Ironman Canada to raise awareness around Juvenile Diabetes. Every dime that the Loriaux brothers have collected in the months preceding this event will be donated directly to the research that will soon announce the cure. Just as nobody stops to rest in the 140th mile of an Ironman, we cannot rest now. We cannot settle with “manageable.” Please join these brothers in this effort to help ‘kids with diabetes’ be just ‘kids.’

BurnCycle will donate all of the proceeds raised in the July 13th 6pm class with Josh in Lake Oswego to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. All we need is for you to ride with us! #strongertogether #thisisourpack
