TERMS & CONDITIONS

RESERVATIONS

  • All BurnCycle clients must have a unique account with a valid e-mail and phone number to register for classes. Registration for classes may be done online, on our app, or in-person at the studio.

  • If the class you'd like to book is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. As bikes are canceled, the list moves up automatically and moves the next person onto the bike that was canceled. A notification email will be sent immediately.

  • If you sign up for the the waitlist, you are agreeing to the same terms as signing up for a class. The same cancelation policy applies. However, if you move off the waitlist less then 30 minutes prior to class and cannot make it, let us know and you will be early canceled.

  • If the waitlist is full, we ask that you continue to check said class for availability or choose another class time. We cannot add clients to the waitlist once it is full.

  • If you are not signed in 3 minutes prior to class, your bike will be given away. If you are running late, you MUST CALL the studio and we will hold your bike for 5 minutes after the start of class time. Due to our COVID-19 safety policies, we will not allow late entry into class to maintain social distancing practices, no exceptions. First time clients must arrive before class starts to participate.

CANCELLATIONS

  • All classes must be cancelled 12 hours prior to class time to avoid a late cancel fee of $24 for monthly unlimited members or the loss of one class from your class package.

  • A client may cancel a class online, on our app, in-studio, or by calling and leaving a time stamped voicemail more than 12 hours before the class.

  • Reserved bikes are released to waiting clients 3 minutes prior to class if you have not arrived and have not called to let us know you are running late.

  • If you are running late, please call and we will hold your bike for 5 minutes from the start of class. After 5 minutes, you will not be allowed into class and will be charged a late cancel fee or lose the class.

  • If you do not show up, cancel your class, or contact us within the appropriate amount of time, you will be charged a late cancel fee or lose a class. No exceptions.

  • If you have a confirmed bike for one class and get into another from the waitlist within the late cancel period, you will be charged for both spots – we are unable to accommodate switching between classes.

  • Early cancels are not refunded - the class is put back into your account for a future use.

CHARGES

  • We are a cash free studio -- all accounts require a credit card to be stored on file. No exceptions.

  • All classes must be paid in full by the time the class begins. If you take class without any previously purchased class/classes on your account, you will automatically be charged for a single class.

  • Shoe rentals are $4 and will be charged to your credit card during class if you do not provide cash prior to the beginning of class.

  • In an effort to increase our sustainability practices, BurnCycle does not sell single-use water bottles. Reusable water bottles are available for sale for $5 and will be charged to your credit card. We also have free water-fill stations in our studios.

  • At this time, to avoid multi-use or contact, all merchandise is final sale.

  • Gift cards are valid for BurnCycle classes and merchandise only and cannot be converted into cash value.

  • If a client’s credit card is rejected for class, shoe or water charges, they must update their credit card information prior to being permitted to take another class.

WAIVER

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to our new rider waiver. Please review before your first ride. The waiver is available in full below.

MINORS

  • You must be 14 years or older to take a BurnCycle class. If you are under 18 years old, we require your legal guardian to sign a consent form in-studio in person prior to riding. Riders must be over 4’10" to ride.

  • We do not allow unaccompanied minors to be left in the lobby during class. No exceptions.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Packages and membership pricing are city-specific and do not cross over from city-to-city. You must create accounts for each city (Seattle and Portland) to ride at all studios.

  • Our Monthly Unlimited pricing is a 3 month minimum, month-to-month auto-renewing membership. The minimum term is 3 months before you are able to cancel. If you must terminate the contract due to prolonged illness/injury, moving, or other extenuating circumstances, we require 30 days advance notice.

  • All single and multiple class packages have expiration dates subject to change without notice.

  • Clients are not permitted to ride more than 2 times per day - no exceptions.

  • BurnCycle is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items. All items left in the studio will be kept in lost and found for 1 month before being donated.

  • Welcome to BurnCycle! BurnCycle provides full-body indoor cycling classes, incorporating drills to target your upper body, obliques and core while using a stationary bike as a vehicle for low impact, high intensity interval training. BurnCycle classes are taught with high intensity, but you are responsible for taking the class at your own pace according to your health, skill and comfort level. BurnCycle bikes are self-adjusting, so you control your intensity. Once class begins, we ride in the dark and utilize intermittent lighting. The music is loud, so we provide earplugs for your use if needed. BurnCycle customers must be 14 years of age or older and at least 4’10” tall to ride.

As a new rider, we require you watch our bike fit video or have one of our skilled team members to properly fit you to your bike. After you are fit, our staff will explain how to manage your resistance and how to clip in and out of the pedals. The bikes require cycling shoes with cleats. You may bring your own or rent shoes from BurnCycle. BurnCycle also offers activities, parties and events for groups, private parties, charity rides and more. Please note that BurnCycle reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

By signing this Agreement, enrolling online, and/or attending in person BurnCycle Activities, Classes and Events and other programs and/or entering the BurnCycle studio facilities and using Equipment, I voluntarily agree, on behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives and/or assigns, and any minor child I may enroll: (a) to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death) that may occur to me or my family members in connection with attendance at BurnCycle or as a result of participation in BurnCycle programs (“Claims”); and (b) covenant not to sue BurnCycle, its instructors, clients, and employees from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto, based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of BurnCycle, its instructors, members, and employees, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after attending BurnCycle’s studio facilities or participating in any BurnCycle program.

In addition, and also in consideration of my participation in BurnCycle Activities, Classes and Events, I authorize BurnCycle to take my photograph, record my image and voice, and to display, reproduce and distribute such photographs, recordings, and all related copyrightable images of me (the "Images") and to allow BurnCycle to use the Images and data pertaining to my performance at a BurnCycle Facility (“Data”) and avoid any dispute with respect to ownership of the Images and Data and I wish to waive any moral rights or other intellectual property rights and to waive my right to sue or otherwise proceed against BurnCycle for such use, whether direct or indirect, of the Images and Data; (a) irrevocably and unconditionally release and discharge the BurnCycle Parties and their respective licensees, sub-licensees, insurers, distributors, suppliers, partners, officers, directors, employees, shareholders, principals, photographers, successors, predecessors, agents, assigns, representatives and all persons acting through, under or in concert with BurnCycle, from any and all claims, suits, causes of action, debts, damages, costs, expenses, liabilities, and demands of any kind, whether in law or equity, whether known or unknown, asserted or unasserted, related to the Images and Data and for copyright infringement in connection with BurnCycle's use, whether direct or indirect, of the Images for which I have any rights to date; and (b) intend my execution of this Participant Release and Waiver Agreement to be a royalty free, irrevocable, non-terminable, worldwide, exclusive and transferrable license for any ongoing or future use by BurnCycle and or its photographers of the Images and Data, and I authorize BurnCycle to bring legal action for any improper use of the Images and Data, including unauthorized use by me and for any infringement occurring after the date of thereof against third parties.
